Penn Relays: Team Jamaica Bickle

Above, Mr Irwine Clare sr, the founder and CEO of Team Jamaica Bickle, speaks to an enthusiastic crowd gathered to fund-raise and talk about the good work Team Jamaica Bickle does helping Jamaican athletes come to Philadelphia every spring. Jamaican athletes have participated in Penn Relays since 1964. In 1994, Mr Clare's organization started fundraising to help the athletes financially and provide food in a tent during the 3 days of events. On the right, the tent in 2009. The pictures of the Penn Relays on this page, I took in 2009.
