Burned books

From article by Adam Liptak, NYT Jul 12, 2016, of interview with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg:

“I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president,” she said. “For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that.”

"It’s Clearly Not Right for Justices to Say Which Candidate They Support" wrote Stephen Gillers in the New York Times .

Mr Gillers is Elihu Root professor of law at New York University School of Law and the author of Regulation of Lawyers, a legal ethics casebook.

Response by publisher of peacescientists.org:

"Mr Gillers has spent too long in a law library. Was not Justice Clarence Thomas' wife found political fundraising? Justice Ginsburg is objecting to a candidate who thinks all parts of the judicial system is nonsense, even as he uses it to clobber anyone who objects to his business interests. Mr Gillers should also be speaking out against Donald Trump, I know I am."

Constitution of the United States of America

Amendment I. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

"Ginsburg Knows, If Trump Wins, the Rule of Law Is at Risk" wrote Paul Butler in the New York Times

Mr Butler is a former federal prosecutor and a law professor at Georgetown University Law Center. He is the author of Let's Get Free: A Hip-Hop Theory of Justice

Response by publisher of peacescientists.org:

Yes! We have had a lot of idiot presidential candidates, some even became president, but none before rejected laws and the judicial system. Donald Trump wants to dismantle everything and lobs 3rd grade insults at anyone he does not like. He has already started "burning books" by shutting off media presence Social media and mainstream media are in lockstep with him, perhaps inadvertently, as they pillory the only viable candidate. We must all speak out. I am doing my best
